Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer and farmer, was the very first Roberts who settled in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in the theater at an early age. While attending Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and in Atlanta. In 1953, he was a member of the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi acted in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955. Their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. The couple divorced in 1957. the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter started his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) throughout this time.
