Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One baby was strapped on my back while one crawled inside the playground. I stayed up all night days for months sanding and taking wallpaper off, all and with just one child. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however we were nowhere near done. To furnish the home would take a lot of effort both in budget and time. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. To stay on budget I started going to estate sales with three boys searching for diamonds in the rough. Our routine was of walking around auctions and garage sales on Sundays and Saturdays, and buy a variety of old pieces and new constructed. It was my job to spend the day at the end of the driveway, working on painting or sanding. It was kind of like the following... This is the place where my passion for in the process of restoring old furniture got started. After our home was fully furnished, I still couldn't quit! I had a space on the local market, and sold pieces there. Then I bought more that I could decide about and had outgrown the space. I started having open houses at my house where over 1 000 people would come through in one weekend, and purchase anything they wanted in the first floor. Growing Days is the result of this. Alongside my flourishing business, I also grew our family. I was balancing the demands between what it took to start a new business while also being a mommy. Growing Days seemed like the ideal fit. In 2013, my daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. I was thrilled with where my company was heading but I needed to take a breather. I took some time away from the old furniture in order to spend more quality time with my kids. It was the ideal thing to do. Within a couple of months, my phone started to begin to. People contacted me asking to assist them in interior decor and home renovations. They had mainly visited my house at the open houses that were held for furniture. The time flew by before I was managing a full-scale business for home improvement. I began by taking clients one by one with a speed I was comfortable with. I'm sure you would have laughed at me had you told me this would become the basis of a DIY Network tv series. In the present, as I reflect on the situation I am laughing.
