Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has herself about her experience of being born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how the realisation has impacted how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, when it comes to skin color there is no difference. After speaking with her adopted sister by South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats the children. Meg was asked whether she was treated differently in the times they went out with their parents, and in the case of going out on their own. Meg replied "Oh I do, each and every moment!" That made me realize that I was so ignorant," Heigl said to Parents. She said that she was frustrated however she was also aware of the need to use this anger to support her children. Heigl has a son of 4 years and Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old, who is Black and was adopted in 2012.
